Katonic Achieves widely recognised ISO 27001 Certification

Katonic, a Sydney-based startup helping enterprises adopt Artificial Intelligence to make IT more Efficient and Resilient announced that it has been awarded ISO 27001 certification, a widely recognized international standard outlining best practices for information security management systems (ISMS).

ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard that mandates numerous security requirements and controls for the establishment, maintenance, and certification of an information security management system (ISMS). The standard ensures that organizations have established methodologies and a framework for business, people, and IT processes to help identify, manage, and reduce risks to the security of information.

“Not only does this certification validates our commitment and investment to the highest level of security standards, but also signals to our customers, partners, and future customers that Katonic.ai takes the protection of any information and data seriously,” said Sandhya Paidmaanu, Chief Security Officer at Katonic.ai.

Katonic ISMS has been certified by LMS Certifications Ltd, an independent and renowned external auditing company, upon successful completion of a formal audit process that demonstrated Katonic.ai possessed the formalized information technology (IT) security policies and procedures and technical controls necessary to meet the standard. LMS Certifications Ltd is an ISO / IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to perform ISMS 27001 certifications.

“Being certified in ISO 27001 means operating and continuously improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Katonic leadership team has been very committed and have demonstrated that security is a topmost priority and embedded in the DNA of the company by adopting policies and procedures at an early stage. Certification illustrates that Katonic.ai processes, technologies, and people are geared to meet cybersecurity challenges” commented Naushad Rajani, Security Advisor to Katonic.ai

“Reaching the Highest Level of Security Standards is key in helping our customers deliver exceptional user experiences through the applications of AI in IT Operations. Enterprises need to understand that in a digital world, IT is essentially a customer-centric service-oriented function, not just a support infrastructure mechanism. We will continue to adapt to these processes and demonstrate our ongoing dedication to Data Protection.” added Chandrashekar R, Director – AIOps Solutions Delivery at Katonic.ai.
